To be fair, the food was overpriced and shit!
The amount of asshole being exhibited in this thread is ridiculous. The dude went to a festival and wanted to share the experience. It's not well written, but no need to keep on being a grumpy old man.
Yes there is. Without people around to tell him it's bad, he'd post another thread like this and not even think about improving anything.
Like when everyone tells someone their band is awesome when it's just average.
We can't all be magical snowflakes.
I call bull. P.Riffs sound nearly identical to the recordings most of the time.
reading this 'review" HURT me.
I've had much worse written to me over the internet at 15.
Yet there is no advice or constructive criticism.
He said he was 15. What did you all expect?
I talked about the spelling.
I'm fine with it I think it's funny how many people are having a go at me.
They were meant to come on at 6:20 they came on at 6:55 almost 40 minutes that's ridiculous.
Also I just woke up like 10 minutes before writing this and didn't proof read it.
That's not necesarilly their fault, though. It could be a number of factors that pushed their set behind. Electrical problems, problems with their backline, band before them taking to long to get their shit off stage, miscommunication, etc. Seems kind of unfair to judge a band that harshly because they were delayed.
Soundwave review by a 27 year old kid.
Got there hungover, bought drink tickets. Beer tasted more like soda water than Beer (1). Saw Red Fang, took them a while to warm up but they where nailing it after a few songs in (7). Went and got more beer (1). Saw Anthrax, they get an extra 2 points due to their crowd trying to start a fight with The Blackout while waiting for the time slot (11). The Blackout (-2) lost 3 points due to closing their set with a half assed Machine Head cover. Got more beer (1). Saw bits and pieces of other bands, not enough to really comment on. Had to sit through Linkin Park while waiting for Metallica (0), got more beer (1). Metallica tore Soundwave a new one with a set mostly consisting of material from Ride, Puppets and Justice, James also seemed to be moving away from his vocal training and getting a bit more grit in his voice (9), best Metallica set I have seen.
I mean no disrespect, just thought I would add to the thread
I watched Ghost and they had some sound problems during soundcheck and their set, Killswitch ran a bit overtime which I'm guessing was due to sound problems as well.
Sound issues aside Ghost put on a good show (IMO), but it's disgraceful they got shit thrown at them by dickheads waiting for Bring Me The Horizon.
I'm sure any number of us have, but why does that mean people get to be an asshat towards the kid?
Because he should learn? Let him do it on his own. Most of us did. Persoanlly, I didn't. I used to make bad threads and posts like this on other sites, but the average user of said site was neither as old, or as intelligent as the average SSO user, so my beatings were a lot less savage than they might have been had I been over here.
Cut him some slack, there are worse offenders at the age of 28.
Although I loved periphery, their tone was pretty farty at times, I could barely understand the intro to luck as a constant because the lower notes of the chords rang out and destroyed anything else being played. As said though they were still audibly tight and spencer was flawless
Guys, stop taking MetalSucks so seriously.
...Wait, this isn't MetalSucks!
