I use Earvana compensated nuts on all my other guitars, and I love how a lot of chords sound more in tune with them installed.

I haven't been able to find a compensated nut for my new Carvin Kiesel Edition 8 string. It's a 27" scale length guitar. I wrote two times to Earvana asking them if they custom make nuts, but they haven't answered yet.. Any of you guys know where I can get a compensated nut for my new baby?

I might be mistaken but didn't Ernie Ball send a cease and desist to Earvana because they had a patent for compensated nuts.

You would have to get your own nut made somehow.

Let me google that for you

The other "mojo" about slightly mistuning notes to hide the "errors" a bit differently is another story.

Maybe buy a piece of graphtec blank and use a scalpel to make your own?
