Hey all, just wanted to dump a little clip for you guys to hear how chuggy and tight my new Universe sounds in a new mix i'm working on. The aftermath I have in it absolutely slays. :hbang: I haven't gotten to quad-tracking it, so this is only just a not-so-hard panned left/right double-tracked take.

Critique, suggestions, pointers? All is welcome!

It has a bit of a Lars Ulrich snare, but the guitar sounds bad ass.

Haha! Interesting comments, thanks to all who listened :)

@haffner1 - that was a result of me going "oh shit, I can barely hear the snare, time to up some compression" after I rendered it and played back thru my computer speakers, but I guess it doesn't need to be that loud :p

@4Eyes - I suppose that I will! Just didn't want to swamp the middle and let the drums breathe a little more, I turned down the guitars just a tiny hair but guess I shouldn't have.

Appreciate the pointers dudes, duly noted.

    I liked it bro.

I also fucking love the substitution of the "k" for the "t". Consider your steez copped.
