    Welcome,

These things are selling like there's no tomorrow. Looks like Ibanez isn't totally dead in the water then - thank god they don't curse the S series with basswood.

    Gorgeous purchase, congrats.

Someone prolly invented a guitar cloning machine in the US and made over 9000 of these and is selling them for cheap since Ibanez decided to whore us this year with the same models, just in white. Plagiarism? Yes. A new form of physical piracy? Yes. Does Ibanez care? Only about the Chinese ones.

We don't like communism around these parts. No sir-ee.

Nice looking 7. And a good deal.

Here is a picture of mine. 1999 made in Japan 7221 I bought. Came with original Ibanez hard shell case and bought for around 50 dollars at a local pawn shop. Has two Seymour Duncan pups and a mahogany body. Neck is perfect. Plays like a dream. Was "dead" silver in color when bought it. I used a little #150 grit sandpaper and elbow grease and got more of a distressed look. Next I may strip off all paint and stain a cherry see through red. For now, I am keeping it as is.

Deals are out there. I guess you have to be in the right place at the right time. Again, you made a good find.
