After some wd40 and some lemonoil most of the rust and driedupness was gone. Quite nice being such a low model, and concidering what I had to pay for it.

Hell yeah dude, you can't beat a $30 NGD!
I was expecting some no name off brand that I didn't recognize, not an LTD lol. Nice score.

Is that an M-207? I’ve got one, and I love it! I paid $150 for mine about 15 years ago and it was in way worse shape than this one! But yeah, that trem is terrible, I replaced it with a crappy knock-off Lo-Pro and it was way better; finally put in an OFR and it’s great!

HNGD! Hope you enjoy yours as much as I love mine!

$30? Feeding the thieving junkies? Or came as a bunch of parts in a ziploc?

Hmmm... come to think of it, I once had a 307. Two of the things I hated? The painted neck and the HZs

This thing, having neither, seems promising

Little story on mine. I traded a member hear my broken/fixed neck Dean Evo 7 for his 207 with a gray crackle finish. I spend countless hours sanding it down to below the sealer by hand (no tools). Big mistake, use stripper next time dummy lol. Put a nice dark satin stain on it after the 24 hours of sanding and hurting my rotator cuff in the process. The finish actually matched the rosewood of the fret board almost perfectly. Whole thing looked like a dark rosewood guitar. Sold it on a whim back to said member I think. Then he put it up for a sale a while later. But he spray canned it refrigerator white.

Heart broken, I couldn't do it all again and it was my fault for selling. Some contractors were at the shop and built a metal wash trough for rinsing things, coating it in a very heavy industrial textured coating. Asked me if I wanted the half a bucket of paint left. The rest is history. IMG_0369.JPG 2015-09-18 20.18.41.jpg
