What’s out there for 30” scale baritones other than the Fender or Schecter offerings?

Off the top of my head, Gretsch, Danelectro, and Harley Benton. Warmoth if you want a project.

I didn't actually play the 30" Gretsch I saw because I was afraid I'd want it, but it's a looker for sure. Playing heavies on that would be a class act.

Huh, that's weird. Harley Benton's own website list it as 27", but I see thomann says 762mm.

Edit: Harley Benton themselves actually say both 27" and 762mm on their website. Weird.

Just look at the thing, I can tell from proportions that it's 30 inches. Super long.

Yeah, I agree. When taking a closer look it definitely looks like it's 30". That's a shame, I was pretty interested in it while thinking it was 27.

On the cheap side the Sub Zero baritone and the new Harley Benton baritone. On the custom side Balaguer guitars offers 30 inch scale lengths.

I've got one of the 29.75 Gretschs and its blown me away. Impulse curiosity buy but hell of a guitar for the money. Dont be fooled by the vintage vibe

I have the new Harley bari and it's really good, sounds just like the Squier. It shipped to me in B standard with super light strings and I immediately put 20-90 in double drop C# on it. It definitely needs a new nut for that but from how I've been playing it I really like it.

I've been playing on this:

It's actually awesome. Build quality is what you'd expect but it sounds so cool. The single coils sound absolutely mental for the low tunings and the switches give you a ton of tonal options.

It's getting used on an industrial metal album I'm recording and I love it. Can be easily modded too.

I have the subzero white 30inch and it's absolutely banging. Same standard as the Harley Benton offerings.

It depends on your budget. The new Harley Benton is cheap but it looks like they're already out of stock and backordered for a couple months. Some of the newer Squires are compelling but the most desirable ones are way overpriced on the used market.
