so I've decided that I want to change out the pickups on my Combustion. The pickups would have to be suited for metal. The heaviest string is going to be a .190 tuned to a sub-octave E. I'm playing through a Darkglass B7K, an Axe Fx II, a Harke HA5500 acting as a power amp and an Harke AK410...
