300 pounds ~~ 352 euro + 19% VAT = 418 euro + shipping that's a hard pass for me. Seems like BKP is pricing themselves out of the market rofl.

Must be blackmachine.. just a basic guitar with a polarizing headstock design and magical fairy tone at a magical price point :) Also in terms of parts, definitely Hipshot. They make decent products but I'm not gonna swap all my parts to Hipshot for the sake of getting a Hipshot.

Can't relate since my 6ers are 42mm and my only 7 string is 45mm so I barely feel a difference :) Once owned a 48mm Ibanez and that felt uncomfortable swapping back and forth with a 6 though.

Oh, bummer. Could've sworn I saw a vid of Keith Merrow where the Fishman rep adjusted some settings and the pups sounded different in the video. So in 2022: build to order Fishman™ pickups :)

I think the Fluence would be a killer product if they release the software to program the EQ curve to the public. Tweak it to your liking, maybe release the original pickup line as a preset etc.

Damn that's insane lol. Thankfully no issues yet on my TOM guitars with Gotoh bridges. On a side note, my Eclipses all have the tail piece very close to the body.. never had issues with them though. It's about the same string angle as my Horizons with string through body ferrules.

I'm curious for those who didn't like the Moderns do you run a boost before amp? If you have a tubescreamer with mid honk then yeah it kind of doubles the honk. I run Moderns in drop C and it's awesome going into my (unboosted) Engl.

The Jackson Mick Thomson sigs have a Floyd style bridge that's fixed on the guitar.. but it's hard to source. It's called the Jackson MTB HT6.

I have the MXR 10-band and the Empress ParaEQ. The MXR is so noisy when boosting frequencies while the ParaEQ stays crisp. In this case you get what you pay for :)
