Drums for about 7 years or so. I used to play a lot of prog like Rush, Yes, ELP, Dream Theater, Genesis, and King Crimson but I went from that into 80s stuff like The Police, Michael Jackson, Toto, and Journey.
Learning the prog stuff was great for learning how to play complicated drum parts...
I mean people like Troy Grady make very interesting content, but I always leave his videos wondering what the hell I just watched rather than thinking I learned something informative.
Always jealous whenever someone gets one of these. HNGD!
Reflectors with some blue paint chips and a 1971 quarter near the bridge AFAIK unless I'm missing something.
@genghis8724 Your question by no means is a bad one. It's just tricky to answer your question when it's a very broad one.
In my experience, EVH Wolfgangs through my Marshall 2203 and Fender Champion have sounded absolutely amazing as far as humbuckers go. As for single coils, the Fender Vintage...
Anyone here ever used the Steve Lukather pre-wired pickguard or have any experience with the pickups in it (85 in bridge, SLVs in middle/neck)? I like the idea of putting it in one of my Strats, but obviously wanna hear what people have to say before I ever pull the trigger on it.
Five Watt World would like to have a word with you...
But in all seriousness though, I'll have moments where I'll think "Damn I really wish I got that multi-effects pedal". But the flip side is that I'm much better off again with what my initial plan going about this was because I can just mix...
I decided I'm gonna go with all pedals and a pedal switcher rather than a multi-fx. It's really what I wanted to do from the start, and I've spent a lot of time trying to get a tone I like with my amps and pedals, so I didn't it'd be worth it to start from scratch all over again when I have...
Definitely very interested in the FX8 so far and especially the idea of a hybrid rig, especially considering that I wanna be able to incorporate my wah pedal and probably some other pedals into my new board still.
Been thinking about expanding my pedalboard for a while since I've ran out of space on mine and have a few more pedals I wanna add to my board. I'm doing this partly to cure some GAS and also as a chance to rebuild/redo my board as it's in some much needed cable management. I could do said cable...
I became a huge Journey fan a few years ago and thought I’d give Toto a try since they both sounded relatively similar (although Toto was much more on the pop side I feel like than Journey).
I had songs like Africa, Rosanna, and Hold the Line on Apple Music, and actually at first didn’t like...
Yea, but I think the Mod Shop is really limited in terms of what you can do with creating guitars on it compared to Warmoth.
Doesn't mean it's bad, but there's definitely a lot of room for expansion and improvement.
I've literally never had a bigger eargasm than when I first heard the first Blue Murder record. Valley of the Kings is definitely the best track on what is such a criminally underrated album.
