The Jem7VP has an Edge but unless there's other models I've also forgotten about I think the other Premium Vai guitars all have a Zero-II bridge.

Interesting. Agreed that these anniversary models cost about what I would have guessed but I was thinking LACS prices were maybe $3,000 - $4,000 on average.

Does anyone know how these prices compare to what an artist would pay for a guitar from LACS?

Some of the ESP USA guitars have recessed TOMs, as well.

But Hetfield's raised ESP/LTD logos actually look good. The BM/AM are so bad they make the KH-3 style logos look good in comparison :facepalm:

It's not a logical fallacy when most Chinese-made products don't have domestically produced options, and the few that do are typically priced orders of magnitude higher. Sure, I can buy an entry-level Gibson for a reasonable premium over a higher-end Epiphone, but compare the price of a Kobalt...

I could see that for Gibson or even Jackson lately, but I don't think most "modern metal" brands would get much if any pushback if they made the switch.
