The power supply modules are the primary reason I went with a Temple Audio board and years later i still haven’t invested in actually buying said modules lol. If you get one let us know what you think.
I think the only baritone tele with a humbucker in the bridge position that fender made was the Blacktop. They really need to bring it back in some cool colors. Would absolutely crush in todays market imho
I don’t understand why humbuckers arent industry standard at this point. You can get P-90s, single coils, filter-trons, etc IN A HUMBUCKER HOUSING. Not vice versa.
I've been playing for 15 years now and my brain for some reason CANNOT visualize/improvise past the G string.
That weird gap going from the G string to the B string throws my brain through a loop. Any patterns I see on the board get broken up like that B string is just giving me a big middle...
So bummed they got rid of the SRC6 for this. I’m just not a fan of multi scale. Waaaayy fewer aftermarket pickup choices. I want to find an old one and throw some lundgrens in it.
Didn’t expect you to be a pedal guy given all the talk about modelers. Is this for a separate analog rig? Or did you hear something in this reverb you don’t hear in your AxeFx reverbs?
Yeah my 10 band was an MXR. Maybe it wasn’t “overkill” but, more than I needed if I remember properly. It’s been like 8 years since I owned it though.
I already have a depth finder clone that I run in the loop so, I don’t feel I really need to shape the very-lows and very-highs too much...
Want to get some opinions on an EQ to throw in the loop of my high gain amps.
Low noise floor is important.
I've had a 10 band before and thought 10 bands was actually a bit overkill.
I'm leaning towards the 6 band but, sort of like that the GE-7 has a Level control.
Of the two which would you...
I had an RG 200D G3+ as my only amp for about a year and it did not disappoint. Those parametric mids really put it in its own class for the price. If it didn’t have broken knobs and jumpy/broken pots, I’d still have it today. Modern, tweakable, tight, high gain on the cheap. Great hidden gems.
I would just grab this:
https://guptech.ca/products/mad-honker-grindr-ts-808
It’s a tweakable screamer and a tweakable TC-boost slapped into one enclosure for a really good price.
If you don’t want the screamer you can get their TC boost by itself for even cheaper but, I think that 2-in-1...
