    New Mesa Boogie Mark amp?

Yeah that one was pretty bad. I would imagine that their thought process was to keep it flat to show the amp's base tone like when people like to keep knobs at noonish while demoing. That way you don't get the impression the amp is a scooped sounding amp when they demo with mid knob completely...

    New Mesa Boogie Mark amp?

I don't have any real need for this but the idea of my fm3 with the 4 cable method AND midi control from the FM3 to integrate the preset switches sounds really nice.

    Aristides Tone

Yeah you could put it that way. In general it feels like you get more physical feedback in your fretting hand and fingers. It's was a little distracting at first to be honest but now It feels weird to play wood guitars.

    Aristides Tone

I agree with most of what narad said. But I will also describe it in my own words if it helps. I have an 060r with BKP silos ( which used to have fishman classics) and an H/07r with BKP polymaths. Acoustically they are absolutely louder than any wooden solid body guitar I've played. You feel...

    NGD - Aristides H/07R and a bonus 060R

They definitely do! In the last clip I was split on the neck pickup. I didn't tap on the coils with a screwdriver to see which coil it split to but I plan on trying them in parallel too. Nolly has said they are particularly good in parallel, maybe due to the coil winding offset? But even as-is...

If anyone is interested in how it sounds I recorded myself noodling around with a couple tones. "

    NGD - Aristides H/07R and a bonus 060R

Thanks, I agree! The raw models were added to be a "budget" option since the paint is very labor and time intensive but they look and feel amazing! The other one I have on order will have paint since I had a certain look I wanted to go for but all my guitars could have a raw finish and I would...

    NGD - Aristides H/07R and a bonus 060R

I've had my eye on Aristides guitars for years and ~7 months ago an 060R with my favorite color popped up locally and I snagged it. I liked it so much that it replaced my Music Man JP15 and I put that up for sale. I then put up my only extended range guitar at the time (an Abasi Legion Larada 8)...

    Aristides Guitars

That's great to hear! I was a little undecided originally on what pickups to go with. I think the polymaths will be great with Aristides since they can be unusually resonant and bass forward and from what I've heard the polymaths have a bit of a bass cut to them.

    Aristides Guitars

Thanks! They are actually the BKP Polymaths. If I remember correctly Aristides sends their bobbins into the pickup manufacturer for the fanned fret models since they have a specific dimensions. Maybe you've seen Lundgrens in one with the same see through white pickup bobbins?

This just started happening to me today as well so it's not just you. Probably not a coincidence if both of us are having it happen on the same day and same website?

    Abasi Concepts/Larada Megathread

Maybe they have gotten better more recently? I had a 2016 VM8 I think it was? It was from the first run of VM8's. It's the only one I've owned but the flaws on mine were pretty typical of other builds at the time from what I saw. It was a great guitar for the money, just not exceptional or...

    Abasi Concepts/Larada Megathread

I had one of the Korean made Legion Larada's and it was fine. It wasn't perfect and definitely was a little overpriced for 2k but it was a sig model with some cool features so it was expected. But it was overall a good guitar, better than most to be honest, I've played 2k guitars that were...

    Aristides Guitars

I swapped out the fishman fluence pickups for some Bare Knuckle Silo's. I didn't want to gut the active electronics so I put an active preamp before the pots match the output impedance of the fishmans. This makes the volume and tone tapers the same so I didn't have to buy new pots. I think I may...

Don't ever do local pickup with cash when buying a guitar through Reverb I guess...

They definitely go through all of your messages. I'd assume when you agree to their terms you agree thay none of it is private. I needed help from reverb support due to a buyer needing to redirect a shipment because of an old address. The support bot automatically detected my issue was with...

    Products that SHOULD Exist

Not sure if you are referring to just the guitar market but DSPs still have a place in embedded applications for lower power, low latency, non parrellel processing sort of applications like battery based digital radios etc. I agree in that they are becoming less and less useful but if you want a...

    Aristides Guitars

That picture is just from a random guitar online not mine sadly. I just based my color scheme for my order (mostly) off of that. I thought the two tone looks great and the gold goes very well with the rose gold chameleon finish for sure. I considered going for a two tone chrome with gold saddles...

    Aristides Guitars

I have been selling some of my guitars because I've been liking like my 0606R so much. Only 2 months into the wait on my H/07R and I just submitted my order form for a HSS 060! My HSS Ibanez AZ was really great but the neck had a bit too much shoulder for me and these Aristides are just so good...
