I 100% understand the thought process of the club owners, it just sucks for other genres of musicians.

We have some decent clubs to play in for metal, but here in TN in my location at least, favor is given to the country crowd. One of the clubs we used to play at another is now rebranding itself to a strictly country music venue.

I used to use curt mangan strings but switched to stringjoy a while back. I just couldn't get much mileage out of the mangan strings before they sounded dead.

The last anime show I watched was Vampire Hunter D, my daughter is super into Attack on Titan right now

I'm super late to the game on this one but I've started watching The Witcher. Ended up binge watching last weekend and made it partially through season 2. I really dig it.

Our drummer and I were in the same vehicle driving back from a show, we ended up listening to every album chimaira released. It had been a long time since either of us had listened to them. Pretty cool to dive back into them again.
