I'm not really comfortable going into too much detail but I was depressed between 2018 and 2020. Someone else in my family was going through some mental health issues at the time so I kind of suffered in the background. A couple of things got me through this time in my life but it wasn't drugs...
While I'm on my lunch break, I'll give you some tips that I've learned over the years... (sorry if you're vegan/vegetarian - you never mentioned it)
- Just because something can be bought in packaging that you'd otherwise find being made by an Italian nonna, doesn't mean it's not decent...
Learn to cook. Don't try to life-hack your way through it.
Instead of my rattling off the entirety of my knowledge about cooking (I cook every single night and have done so for the last 10 years), check out the following YouTube channels:

So I'm still playing Fallout 4 every day after I come home from work, but I'll have to set it aside eventually. I haven't played every game ever but it does feel like I've played every game I'd be interested in playing at the moment. At this stage it seems like I'm literally just waiting for...
Yeah it's a shame. Mike Shannon or not, USA SL2H's/V's are still going to be epic guitars. I've wanted a USA Soloist for a long long time even despite my tastes moving away from metal guitars.
*small note: turns out it's not a Mike Shannon but just a regular Custom Shop order.
Okay so story time:
The sale of my MESA / Boogie 1x12 Mini Rectifier cab was going to give me funds to safely make the purchase, however the buyer tried to scam me out of it. They didn't send payment, so I...
I think it's a combination of things:
- Floyds were indeed a fad. I have played them since 2008 and they really boomed in around '84 and were common up until the present day.
- The main factor I believe is more refined usage of the tremolo arm in heavy music. Flutters and vibrato are way more...
I've never owned a top-mount OFR guitar before so if I can nab this one, it'll be interesting. I played a TOM Jackson as a teenager but I've played recessed Floyds since 2008 lol
I
I would have the HSS any day of the week. The one I'm referring to in the OP is HH but honestly you can get some great split sounds with a '59 in the neck.
I have the opportunity to purchase one for an excellent price but just wanted to hear from people who have owned them. USA Soloists have shot up in price to the point where I literally cannot afford one.
For those asking "what's that?" - they're Soloists made in Jackson's custom shop by Master...
Not sure what modeler/plugin you're using, but did you try running a parametric EQ before the output and boosting 110hz? I've been doing that for months and it sounds good to me.
So after determining that my little MESA / Boogie 1x12 Mini Rectifier cab just isn't enough, I'm on track to buy the first of two Orange PPC412-C (black) cabs next week so I can run them in stereo with my Axe-Fx III and Fryette 2/90/2. The retailer has said that they can contact MESA / Boogie...
All my guitars are case queens but my ESP Horizon FR SW has some really interesting relic'ing now that it's 12 years old. I like getting dings because you stop caring but that first one is always painful. Would I play one? As in, would I play one that a company made for me? Yes. Would I, as a...
