    Nad.. Archon

Archon electronics are easy to repair due to his construction like hand welding, mine had problems like a year ago and a experienced guy repair it without knowing the amp, I didn't know if he finds the schematics on the web

Guitars = constant wall of noise in my mix

in the mix on the first post, I think your guitars don´t as bad as you think, just feel a lot of low end, maybe hi passing higher, Are you using new strings? dull and muddiness are problems that old strings bring on Check balances, one thing I make is "testing or mixing" in mono, if guitars in...

Kemper vs Load Box for quiet recording?

How many heads do you have? A load box like the suhr or torpedo would be a very nice choice, im very happy with the Captor. I can crank the shit out of the amp and use countless numbers of cabs Load boxes have a learning curve and can be difficult to dial at the begging, but you can do a lot of...

    Trouble Recording in Reaper

In metal context you need to record two takes separetly and pan right and left, if you doubled the same record and pan, you get a super thin or non existen guitar sound

Scooping the mids on a 6505+ head

I love the nasty mids in the 6505+ I'm in the process of recording and EP and used the 6505+ with the mids on 3.5, cut some on the 600 to 700 hz area, but don´t go crazy because i can make it sound dull

Massive new mix with real drums!!!

Awesome mix, love the feeling. As pointed before, you can add a little presence to the guitars, the kick for me sounds fine but you can lift a bit in the +7k area for extra click. Seems the drums needs a bit more of control in dynamics, maybe light clipping can help
