NPMD - Ferrari Red Charvel Mutt...

...so, last year in a trade with Cameron I got a USA Charvel neck. (Note: always trade for parts with the guy who worked for FMIC). I wasn't going to leave that sitting around - even though it took me a year to get to it - so I picked up a 1988 Chushin Model 3 body, raided my parts box, and...

    So, slowly...

...yeah, this is happening: Now that the body is sanded down to 300, I'm going to assemble it and determine if I need to scallop the heel and/or horn. I've got to drill all the wiring holes, but if I can do that without screwing it up I may just oil finish it and call it a day.

    NB(ridge)D: Hipshot Tone-a-matic 7

So, I finally replaced the original rotting zinc Gotoh 7 string TOM on my Soloist 7. The low B saddle was basically rounded off up to the notch. I was going to do the ABM bridge, but then Hipshot introduced the Tone-amatic 7...

    Multiscale players...

...anyone try one of these? https://csl-sophia-tremolos.myshopify.com/collections/sophia-2-92-tremolos/products/sophia-2-92-seven Looks interesting, to say the least, though I wonder if it has enough movement in the saddles. Says "multilscale capable", though.

Mod Review - Jericho Fusion 7 String

After my very positive impression of the Avenger 7 string last year, Dave at Jericho Guitars was kind enough to send me an example of their new model, the Fusion, to check out, and I must say I'm impressed. For those that don't know, Jericho is a Texas-based company that sells 27" scale...

    Belated NGD: Jackson DR7....

...that I picked up from a former bandmate for $100: Hard to see in this pic, but it's the flip/flop blue/purple color. It has a ground issue somewhere, so I'll be gutting it at replacing both PUs and the electronics. I wasn't a fan of these when they came out, but either my tastes...
