    Certainly a good idea - I've seen this done in some factory videos, though you do miss out on one benefit of CNC which is hidden fret tang ends...

    Anyone tried the BKP HSP90s?

    Love them. Had the Pig90 in my Aristides 020 neck (with Warpig bridge) , and have the Supermassive 90 in my Carillion (with Painkiller bridge)....

    Yeah 160 is fairly loose - the 168 will be like the 160 was a semitone higher :) I don't think it's a problematic thickness to get a nice tone...

    Note the tuning is essentially drop G skipping a string - they are tuned an octave apart.

    Yup. I'm a scale length slut myself but couldn't agree more still. Regular tension Ab requires about 165 gauge - a 35" will only reduce that to...
