    N(O)GD: MIJ Jackson King V

it sounds about as good as it plays, which is to say very well for sure! definitely sounds bigger than it is size-wise if that makes sense and the fishman SC 6 set really does sound almost exactly like the 8 string set which surprised me in a very good way. thanks, the wall art in this room is...

    N(O)GD: MIJ Jackson King V

I absolutely love them. I've had a set of the 8 string ones and I can confidently say that the 6 string set sounds pretty much identical to the 8 string set and they are absolutely killer for lower tunings. really good for drop B which is the tuning I have it in right now for the band. I REALLY...

definitely not lol, I think the post was more aimed at the finish. cherry burst flamed maple top king v's just look.. killer. I'm surprised there's not more of them

    N(O)GD: MIJ Jackson King V

scored this amazing jackson for a ridiculous deal and thought I should probably share it with everyone here since I really don't post enough anymore. It's essentially a nearly unplayed '98 made in japan Jackson KVX10 with a flamed maple cherry burst top; literally something I've never seen on a...

Having lots of trouble deciding between two very different amps for recording purpose

Yep this is basically what I'm doing now, ordering the torpedo captor. it's the smarter choice for what I'm specifically after lol. Yeah I think the captor is gonna be my solution, I will be dipping into a few different VSTs now though since the conversations here really piqued my interest in...

Having lots of trouble deciding between two very different amps for recording purpose

I have played around with VSTs in the past, I think amprig and the original bias fx but I had a hard time really getting a sound that felt "right" if that makes sense. I think it's the physical act of using hardware that makes it click since I didn't have much of an issue with my pod HD300 once...

Having lots of trouble deciding between two very different amps for recording purpose

That's something I've also thought about since I'm very happy with how my H&K sounds, it's just the emulated out that lands in a strange place tonally that I'm not very satisfied with. I should add that I do love the idea of having a multieffects processor which is another thing that was leaning...

Having lots of trouble deciding between two very different amps for recording purpose

That's an interesting option I've never actually considered since I've actively stayed away from line 6 for quite a while BUT it might be a very good one since I can use it in more than just a home situation. I did at one point own a POD300 and while it did it's job I don't think I was ever 100%...

Having lots of trouble deciding between two very different amps for recording purpose

So I've had this real first world problem that I can't come to a conclusion on and figured maybe I could get some good input from multiple viewpoints here. I'll start with explaining what I'm doing here. I'm looking for a good amp for home recording, having a good DI out is basically mandatory...

NGD Schecter Sun Valley SS III 7 string!

That's pretty interesting because the saddles are definitely not the zinc style ones from the special that's in the original sun valleys and the normal floyd rose typing is stamped on there so it's definitely fooled me. Is the 1000 built to the same specs as the original? I'm actually a bit...

NGD Schecter Sun Valley SS III 7 string!

Yeah I've been doing setups for around a decade now so it doesn't bug me much as I have all the tools necessary to fix the sharp fret ends and tarnishing, but I can see how this might be a problem for someone who doesn't want to pay another 100 or so for a setup and to fix the rough fret ends...

NGD Schecter Sun Valley SS III 7 string!

Wow it's been a long while since I posted here, but for the first time in a veery long time I'm playing 7s again so here I am posting it. I actually got it earlier this month but figured you guys would be interested in a short review since I don't see many of these around and there's even less...

NGD: After seeing it multiple times over the past half year, I did it.

Thanks everyone, and yeah I truly am impressed with the quality of it, for being an import model that runs new for about 500 this thing plays better than some guitars I bought for near a thousand, not to mention this comes with stock pickups that actually sound good. Really has me looking into...

NAD: because I'm so god damn excited that I can't even wait until its off 30 day hold

Was wondering what you meant by the boost and then I remembered the amp has the 4th tube engaged via plugging into high. Yeah I might do the same, can you PM me with more information, maybe a quote that you got for the work? I'm very very interested, as this is definitely going to be my main amp...

NAD: because I'm so god damn excited that I can't even wait until its off 30 day hold

Which mods did you get done? I'm interested in getting some work done on mine in the future, and while I can't imagine it sounding better.. who says it can't exceed my imaginations and blow my mind? :D

NGD: After seeing it multiple times over the past half year, I did it.

Especially considering that RG7321s strangely have a pretty low resale value, something around 200 to 280 on ebay, the higher end including a pickup upgrade.. I just wish I had the stock pickups, as I would've sold the blackouts seperately and made the difference back as he was suggesting...

    PRS 2015 Lineup Released

I don't follow Staind or anything, but after seeing Mike Mushok's rig rundown recently and him running baritone 7s now, I could definitely see it happening.... :ugh:

NGD: After seeing it multiple times over the past half year, I did it.

I finally went ahead and got it. I had been eyeballing this guitar in a used section at a guitarcenter some 10 miles from me for a very long time, everytime I'd go in there I'd go directly to the used section to check if someone bought it  And well, today was the day I guess! I had an...

Bump 360OBO, again open to all kinds of guitar trades as long as the neck isn't too big.
