You mentioned the clothes iron method to me....
and i hadnt tried that method of removing a board before....
so i gave it a go a few hours ago *yawns*

went pretty damn well!
the only hard part was getting the knife in the seam without denting the neck wood...
once i had the knife under the fretboard it went pretty quick till the board popped off
(in one piece, woot woot)

im not sure how the steam actually would affect a finished neck, this one was sanded back partially lol...

iv done it like twice and i think i managed to get one board off clean and snap another lol
