yeah we ate out in the city most days - great value and decent food. With a bit of bartering we were getting 3 courses and 2 leffe's for about 15 EUR most days

probably the least metal looking ones! I'm 6ft 6 and have short hair so that would have set me apart from most people there haha.

Yeah i spent a lot of money but that was as expected. We were there till yesterday so did some Christmas markets etc on Sunday instead.

nah that wasnt me but I know the guy you are talking about i spoke to him for a while. yeah I talked to Hamish quite a few times over the course of the week.

My friend and I pretty much spent any non festival time in the Delirium cafe. Sampled over 30 different beers over the course of the week it was awesome.

It was a good week but I was thouroughly done with standing up by the end of it!

Hey sorry I missed that message i want on my phone much while I was there. There turned out to be quite a few Scottish people there as I ended up speaking to a few.

Did you enjoy it? I thought it was good for the most part. Nightbringer and Dark Sonority were probably highlights for me.

I was surprised at the amount of people there who had literally no idea about the music and seemed obsessed with the merch more than anything else it was a bit weird really.

Better now our heatwave is over and i can stand my un-cooled weight room again. I'm at 227 now so I've lost 20 pounds since May 1st.
Probably dropped 2 or 3 pounds muscle though from only lifting once a week, but I'm back on it now and have a squat cage now so can bench in it as well without having a spotter and still go to failure (also can finally bench max by myself with no fear.
The safety rods #16 hole is exactly where the bar touches my chest, so I can slide out after failure without much trouble. Haven't even had a single beer in 3 days, getting thirsty though huhuhuh.

I did indeed CONQUER THE MERCH STAND! :p I bought three shirts for myself, one for my gf and one for my best friend. And a cap. So yeah :p

I didn't get in any pits though, but I thoroughly enjoyed the show :D

Yeah I did everything but the drums, which were handled by Superior Drummer.

Tech wankery is pretty meaningless to me. Give me a band who can actually write a song with riffs that create an atmosphere and I'll take them over the band playing at 300bpm any day of the week.

I'm actually hoping to get a couple of cheap laptop stands from Ikea and put it on my desk so it's a tad more accessible - though Pod HD edit is pretty good for controlling it via your computer!
