man you make me want to get those pups! a buddy of mine is talking about getting some for his ibby and told me if i got a custom shop made that it was the way to go. i have a line 6 jam 75 amp that meshuggah made 2-3 presets for and they sound the best for my 7. wonder how much better with those pups. they sure are expensive-i thought $200 for a pair of emg's was bad. i could almost buy a good 7 string for that kind of money. they must be awesome if you think that much of them. now i gotta find someplace that has them so i can hear for myself. thanks

thanks for the info. i have 2 of the 6 string xiphos (halo 3 sp. ed. & summer slaughter tour ed.) & love them. i wondered about the 7 string version. good to hear about the neck cause that is what i worried about. i had a uv777 and thought the neck was just a little to thick for me. thanks to your advice i think i will get the newer version, just wish it had a lo pro 7 trem. tried to get ibanez to put one on but they dont do custom work for regular joes :( that is the only thing keeping me from pulling the trigger on it and considering the agile hornet, bc rich v or custom 7.
