Hehe not anytime soon, if I keep that Dingwall it's going to kill my funds for at least a month or two! :(

I'll have you know that when you posted "leave it to the pros" in the PBL you actually posted a picture of a college athlete.

(We still love you down here, please don't hurt me)

Devin Townsend has become rather hit-or-miss. :/ Makes me sad. Also, carnival metal sounds silly.

Ah, hope things turn out better soon then? As far as the bass amp search goes, I think I'm going to look for a POD X3 or X3 PRO. All the guitar and bass models, so I can use it for scratch guitar tracks and play it through my monitors (would work well since I have the K10S sub, that's for sure! ;)) for a bass amp on the "cheap", relatively-speaking if I can find a used one. Found a gent on here from NC that is selling one, and if he's the same guy from Craigslist he has his down to $300 so maybe I'll get lucky? Trying not to spend more than $350 on one as they're obviously a bit dated at this point, they'll do for what I need but dropping too much would be foolish as an Axe-Fx Standard just sold (wish I had seen it first! :squint:) for $950 on eBay! I find it hilarious that people are fleeing to get rid of their shit at dirt cheap prices already, they are absolutely solid units so if I find another one that cheap I'm jumping on it!

Oh that's awesome dude! I've never been to either. But if you have family in Burmuda, I highly suggest you check it out soon.

It was good man. The weather kinda sucked, it rained most of the time we were on the boat, and about half the time we were on the island. But we still managed to have a good time.

A week late, but hell yea! You know I'm in!

Everything smoothed over with the ladyfriend? :)
    11. HighGain510
Ah that's definitely no bueno mang. :( Okay, no worries, hope everything works out for you bro!

Has anyone actually figured out what the maximum scale length at which A440 is achievable is? 24" would certainly be preferable to something, y'know, uber-tiny.

(DISCLAIMER: Not saying "omg i would buy one," just thinking with my fingers. :P)

Random Eric thought of the day: I am surprised that Kurt of Rondo fame has not yet done a 26"-24" or 25.5"-23.5" fanned-fret 8 for tuning up without buying smelly-ass special strings.

Hey dooder, are you up for a call later this evening? I have questions about bass amps/recording and it would take all day back and forth between visitor messages instead of a short conversation over the phone. If so, PM me your cell and I'll give you a call tonight!

HAHAHA! It will look classier than that! ;)

Yeah it's coming home for sure! The owner of the store just got back to me with the price and which it's expensive, it's within what I figured it would cost and for what you get, the price seems justified! :D 37" scale low B? plzkthxbai2u! I'm also planning on grabbing a set of DR Neons in Orange once I kill the stock strings! ;) Blue + orange = ultra win! :agreed:
    19. HighGain510
P.S. You totally have to swing down soon, I got the price quote back on this baby (Dingwall ABZ 5 "Whalepoolburst/Maple" 5 string Bass w/gigbag - Call or E-mail For Price!!) and assuming I have the cash ready to go after I check my balance shortly, I think I am going to grab that bizzzzz! :D
    20. HighGain510
Ah okay totally understandable. :agreed: Could you remove her on FB and set it to private? :D I know what you mean though, Lyn's sister just tried to add me on FB, I don't really want another nosey person scoping out my page just so she can gossip my business around with the rest of her family. I get the feeling not adding her is going to get me in trouble but that's a risk I'm willing to take to keep my privacy. I've never talked to her sister before this, why should I start now and ruin a good thing?! ;)

Glad to hear things with the new girly are working out otherwise though! Like seeing my home skillets happy! :yesway:
