So are you up to it? I'm definitely in no hurry, but I'd like to hear your opinion on the idea.

And the solo background riff is not the final for sure, but the riff will most probably be around that chord progression.

The person that mostly uses this account is Joel, the drummer/producer/programmer, of the band. However, we, I and my brother, share the computer with each other and that way we both use each others' applications. I also know a bunch about guitars, but most of guitar related info comes from my bro to me and onwards to the board. I (Joel) am most of the time involved. :)

The song that I'd like to hear a solo by you on is Locus starting from 3:10 and ending to the chorus of the song. I'm pretty much open to all ideas, so you have open hands to do anything, though I can check out the process at some point and give my opinions about it.

And to make the nature of the song more clear, it's composed to make vocals fit good. Not that it strictly would made any difference to your composing, but FYI.

So what do you say if we did a bit of a collab in a form of featuring solo? I've been pissed because of the fact that one of our oldest songs is not ready because of a solo, and it would be perfect if you did it. (As I know how good you are @ lead work)

The song I'm speaking of is 'Locus'. It lacks the solo, as I said, and I'd love to hear you chops on it. Tell me if you're interested.

But definitely being serious 'bout anything we have atm. and pushing to make a record some day. But we're in no hurry at this age.
... Somehow typed this on my own public message board.

Oh... well thank you. I always love to hear compliments from you (still keep on giving the real feedback ). I'm not Joel but I can answer for him on these. I actually mentioned that 'Crack' on the snare you speak of to him, so now I got one more arguments for that one, haha.

And Joel actually posted on some thread that we wont publish anything due to our young age. There has been too many young rock/metal bands in Finland lately that has made a single maybe an album and then never been heard of. We definitely don't want to be the next one. (Tube for example 'Sturm Und Drang' if interested in that xD). So, we'd like to have a more than decent singer to do that part. And after we get to play with him a little we'll probably give something out. That still might take a year or at least a half. And that would be an EP.

And since our sound is not the heaviest and most modern of all we'll need to get proper mikes first to get our drums sound more human. We're not SD2.0 FOREVER.

      Hey dude.

I'm a different type of sound to Sliggy... You can listen to some rough vocals of mine if you check out the vocals I did for Kurkk's version of Jetpacks, or if you go to soundcloud.com/jamesdevlin you can hear a bit of me singing there too.

I listened to the Halycon EP this avo... that's some epic shit man... epic! Would love to help you write some vocals for that kind of thing!
