  • Hello sir,

I thought that you might like to see the mockup Randy made for me. It's in the works! :woot:

No worries at all. Had to go with "Uncle Fester" from the Addams Family. Considering that after St. Baldrick's St. Baldrick's Foundation - Welcome and Locks of Love Locks of Love helps disadvantaged children suffering from medical hair loss is done with me every two years, I don't look too dissimiliar (even with a light bulb in my mouth). Just did the donation thing in early April and I'm already back to a full head of hair (about 1 to 2 inches all around). LOL!

The other avatar that you get to see when I post a message is my main toon from, "EVE-Online." A great game that I highly recommend.
Thanks for your input, both here and on my thread. :yesway:

I'm currently a little short of cash, but once I've recovered from the payout for my new Bare Knuckle Nailbomb pickups, bass pickups will become top priority.

Oh, and I meant to ask. Your avatar - what/where is it from?
    Dear Caughtinamosh,

Oh, in the case of stacked pickups, I'm really stuck on Seymour Duncans for a more traditional sound out of bass. However, I got's to tell ya, Bartolinis (active electronics and/or pickups) are the way to go, especially if you can get a double coil pickup. Just sweetens the sound out of your bass guitar.

Thanks man. LOL! Been around a little bit. My view is that I try to give folks good information and in some cases opinions, through the understanding that my own musical background is probably a bit different than the majority of folks on these forums.
Thanks a lot for your stack recommendations. Unfortunately, I was referring to "stack pickups" - hum cancelling "single coils."

I've been meaning to say this for some time now, but you seem like a really great member. There has recently been an influx (I think that's the word) of new, n00b members, but not you. You have made some excellent posts. :yesway:
