i enjoy helping people. its weird because some people i just dont click with, but when i do click with people, i might as well have known them for years previous. one of the girls i was hanging out with for pretty much august lol, within 2 weeks i knew so much about her it was ridiculous.

i really hope she visits. perhaps i will call her tonight, since last night was.. interesting lol

I'm taking 2 years of social work.. then maybe music therapy after that? maybe do some extra work/volunteering and go for music teacher? i dunno.

my career has to involve helping people, and music. thats all i require. but that hasnt helped me pick one yet :(

school starts tuesday, and considering the fact i've been here for 24 hours, i've already had some fun at the bar and gotten a name and number, waiting for a phone call.

its gonna be a good year, methinks!

oh and my hot "ex-girlfriend" (5 days, c'mon now) seems excited to see me lol

Yeah, I know...it's uncanny how consistently good USM's been since day one. He even turned the Clone Saga into a pretty cool story!

Yeah, Bendis does do good stuff. I really enjoyed his Daredevil run.

At least he isn't cramming all his occult/counterculture interests into this one...

My brother borrowed my copies of 'The Invisibles' a couple of nights ago, and said afterwards that he'd had to read it with Wikipedia constantly open next to him to keep looking everything up...

Yeah, it took me a couple of reads, but I think I know what's going on...

Oh, on a related note, don't bother with 'Last Will And Testament'. It's pretty disappointing...

As in it begins to make certain things about the whole Crisis a bit more clear, while at the same time revealing a whole bunch of new things that've been going on behind the scenes...

Plus, I suspect there may be some breaking of the fourth wall coming soon, but then it's Morrison, so that's kind of a given...

Looks like Darkseid might not actually be the main 'big evil' in all of this...

      Hey man...

Have you read 'FC: Superman Beyond'?

Just got it a couple of hours ago...totally fucking nuts.

Hmmmm...I'm still avoiding making judgements at this stage, if you can believe it...

I'm kinda hoping for a conclusion similar to 'Seven Soldiers of Victory' where all the disparate threads come together all at once and it's all pure awesomeness...

On that note, have you read 'Seven Soldiers...'?

Yeah, it was a great read. It's a good example of how to do tie-ins well. I'd suspect Jonn would return from the dead at some point later, but I'm not so sure after reading that...

Most of the Final Crisis tie-ins have been really good so far, although I'm not altogether sure what 'Legion of Three Worlds' has to do with anything...it seems like the put the FC logo on that just as a selling point.

Is Bill driving down again this year? Yeah, either Bill or Kevan would be cool depending on whomever might be driving through these parts and if they're okay with me tagging along. :D I'd be willing to bet the folks at Jemfest would be walking around with mega-huge boners from the Sherman 7 too!
