Hey there! i saw you commented on my NGD post which led me to your profile which then led me to find your NDG post of your ibby565... apologies for the randomness of all this but i noticed you said there was an issue with the trem bar when you got it. Was it all sloppy like when the bar went in it wasn't fully snug at all? I have a 91 570 ibby and i have that issue with my trem bar to the max. i bought a new bar off of musicians friend but the issue still persists. How did you fix yours?

I've got some questions to you. I recently bought the 8-string Jackson J32-Q8. Everything was going better than good until .... until I desire to change pickups, I'm sure you know what issue bothers me. The size of the stocks are much bigger than Dimarzio/SD. I've read your post aboute friend of yours who was fighting the same isseu. How did he solve it? What kind of pickups did he use for replacment, or is it even possible (what kind of manufacture)? I'm looking forwad for some advice, please ask your friend about it or show him this massage )

Ah yeah I forgot to mention that, he is usually VERY fast too, or at least he has been in my experience. Some even turned around within 1-2 weeks. If you tell him what you want up front and ask how much he already has in the queue, he should be able to tell you what you'd be looking at for wait time. I believe the last job I sent him (the orange Ibby sparkle, which was full body and headstock face) literally took one week and then he shipped it back out. The job was perfect too, like I said, Marty is great at what he does!

He is THE MAN for sparkle finishes, and his other staining work looks great too. Dude knows his stuff and his prices are always extremely fair, so I'd say hit him up and see what he says. :yesway:

I just started scrolling through the RG8 mod thread, saw yours, thought some black "binding" would look great on it + cover up the rough edges.

well basically, just 0000 steel wool, don't rub too hard in just once place, and only go enough to get past the clear coat to desired satin-ness(i think I just made up a word )
