Geek-chic, from England
Though Michelle Dewberry > ALL ;)
+1 :agreed: Margaret > Kate
Yeah, the 250K one... Can't find it on teh google. Oh well, back to the thread it is then... :D
Hey man, where did you find that priceless "Margaret :O" pic?
Yeah, she's pretty much exactly what most people would think of when they hear "ES335." Despite the metalhead in me, I still love her to bits.
That's one I found on the net. Mine is cherry finish.
Here's a bed shot.
I've come close to doing that. Oh so close...
Here's a pic illustrating what I've got to force everything through. See where the jack is? Getting that back in will be Hell.
The more 'bombs the better, too.
It's also an absolute nightmare due to the lack of control cavities. It means I have to fuck around in the f-hole (no innuendo, please :squint:). Dragging pots and wires through it is an absolute nightmare.
NOOOO!!! The guy here hasn't a clue what he's doing, and he'll charge an absolutely extortionate price. I'll take it out to my Dad's next weekend - he's good at soldering/wiring. Means a longer picstory, but that's a good thing, right?
Oh, and I think I'll just order another 'bomb for the neck. Do the whole lot at once!
The 'bomb came... And the wiring has driven me berserk. Clinically insane.
Your Margaret pic on the 250K thread = win :metal:
They are undoubtedly great guitars. Easy on the eye and on the wallet. :)
My first picstory. Totally unneccesary for something as trivial as this, but there's nothing wrong with that. It will probably show EVERYTHING from the "sorry, you weren't in" note through the door, to the post office to the coffee I'm drinking while installing it.
Ah... we have a believer!!! :hbang:
I really love my Epi ES. Sure, it's not the "real deal," but it's damn well good enough for me. I can't wait to put the Nailbomb in it. Sure, I'm pushing it a little more than what it was probably designed to, but Tim said it would work great for Opeth tone, so... :)
A picstory to follow. :)
iPod envy
Yeah, it is good. Not quite as active as this place, but virtually everyone knows everyone else... and it lackes teh "core" crowd. :)
Hey, have you ever checked out Metalguitarist.org A lot of the best guys on here have "migrated" over there, if you will. It's basically the same format as here, but without the n00b infestation.
Man, it's good to be back on here. I've missed all the old faces. :D
You're a "The Apprentice" fan. You automatically win. :metal:
No problem dude. I'm sick of n00bs spreading shite throughout our great and glorious SS.org.
