why are your pups so far away? and the evo isn't as crazy as some people made it sound. i actually had to turn the gain up a little more after switching from my 7421 with a blaze custom in it.
got my 7620 wired up right... evo7/blaze neck is INCREDIBLY versatile... i was expecting it to be straight up metal but it can do a lot of things... i like that combo ALOT. too bad i'm putting it in the shop on monday.You're quite right. Buying the fretboard pre-made will ensure maximum intonation accuracy.
Any ideas which woods you're gonna pick?No probs. I don't actually think it's so bad, considering that it was (at the time) a new product, and it's multi-laminate design. Ask for the same neck from Christopher Woods, and you can expect to pay a few hundred dollars more.
