I spent a good amount of time with right hand ever since I started playing which is about 4 yrs. I just wanted to get as fast as petrucci then I'm done basically that's what I'm trying to do.

I love it - Great movie. Ong Bak 2 is great as well. And, he is filming the third right now. I really recommend that you check out Goemon if you have not seen it yet. It's a big budget, CGI, and wire extravaganza, but its awesome!
    3. Trespass
Jazz III rip off please. The one pick I use constantly is a 5mm Primtetone by Dunlop: Dunlop - PRIMETONE PICKS

Could you do something similar to that as well? PM me price and shipping, if you could.

    4. JBroll
Excellent, that sounds great. PM me and we'll work out the money.

    5. JBroll
Those are looking really good - I can't tell how sharp or large they are from the photos, but if they're at least comparable to your models I'm happy.

    6. JBroll
That looks good... As long as it's fairly sharp, I'm as good as in as soon as you have an estimate of the shipping date. Worst-case scenario, I can file a sharp tip down more easily than I can sharpen a dull tip, so err on that side if you can. I don't imagine needing more than one of a given shape, but if you can manage a jazz-style teardrop I might consider those as well.

    7. JBroll
I saw the pictures you posted - the sharp stubby shape caught my attention, and that's what I'd probably wind up asking for.

My usual picks are the Tortex Sharps - if that shape is easier to make, one of those would be great.

PM me with your prices when you have the time and a time estimate - I don't have too many purchases from people on here (an EMG and a pickup magnet are the only things that come to mind) but I've made a few more purchases at the Sneap forum, so if you want to do your detective work I can give you references there.

    8. danenachtrieb
just got it today, will be shipping them tomorrow!
    9. danenachtrieb
10 bux sounds good. yeah man we'll definately be making 2x12 cabs.
    10. danenachtrieb
how much were you thinking of spending?
    11. synrgy
Nothing fancy. I work for The Motley Fool ( Stock Investing Advice | Stock Research). Currently on the Customer Service team. Basically I issue refunds all day to people who are pissed off because they didn't realize they were on an automatic renewal plan until they got their credit card statement. I've been with the company for about 2 1/2 years now. I only recently joined this team. Before this I was doing office management, and I wasn't digging it at all. Before the Fool, I basically waited tables forever.
    12. danenachtrieb
      how many you looking for?
    13. synrgy
I move a lot. I need to update that. I'm in Arlington now. ;)

The Ideals to Embers stuff is just me. I'm glad you dig it! I'm @ work until this evening, but I'll check out your stuff as soon as I get a chance. :yesway:
    14. synrgy
I'm all over the place, really. With guitar, more or less metal/rock-ish stuff, though the band I've been playing in for the last year is very different for me. The stuff I do with the band isn't anything like the stuff I do by my self..

      anyway, here's some links:

Guitar stuff (recorded before I made the switch to 7 string about 6-7 months ago): Ideals to Embers on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads

Drum N Bass stuff: index or synrgy on MySpace Music - Free Streaming MP3s, Pictures & Music Downloads

      how about you?
    15. synrgy
Sam Jackson references are always a good time, indeed. ;)

Also, I can't believe KJ has never heard Chicago. In fact, I call bull shit on that one. I'm sure he's seen The Karate Kid part II, and the theme song from that is Chicago, isn't it? It's at least Peter Cetera's solo work.. "I am the man, who will fight for your honor!!" Epic lulz..
    16. fretninjadave
Dude you have never heard of chicago?Look for them on myspace music.Try a song called 25 or 624
    17. Konfyouzd
i actually went to the music store the other day to get some strings and they had some drawing to win one of various instruments on the wall. a sax was one of them. i think it's a tenor sax

so i'm hoping i win that shit. who's chicago?
    18. Konfyouzd
you read my mind, man! i use the keyboard very little because i'm not very good with it. i found a site that lays out the scales and stuff almost like tabs (well the equivalent of tabbing something out on keyboard) so i may fuck with that or just find a keyboard player eventually.

the trumpet idea i have thought of. i know a guy who plays trumpet and i asked him if he'd wanna do it but he's actin' like a puss. if we just make a recording for fun it couldn't hurt anyone. i was also thinking about getting a sax (used to play back in the day and need that in my life again  )
    19. Konfyouzd
not proud of either of these yet... this is going to be my "album intro" when i finally get off my ass and record it right (and right a half decent solo... they're all improv'd)

this is the song it's supposed to roll into... you have to DL this one and it's a fat daddy--20 Megs! sloppy... full of mistakes... no real direction... yet

this one is just some shit i was playing around with on a lunch break one day. i plugged all instruments straight into my sound card and went to town (no amp/preamp/whatever... just guitar, cord, computer  ). FULL of mistakes. Everything was done in one take so I could get back to work and you gotta DL this guy too.

I never get anything done as far as recording goes...

And I tend to write below my skill level...
    20. Konfyouzd
      i'm diggin' the band. :agreed:

you are indeed a fret ninja... very quick very clean... :yesway:
