Yea 3k will work fine.

I use 1k for REALLY bright LED's. 4.7 if people request it to be a little dimmer.

Both good guitars, the ATX is about twice as big in every aspect, the neck, heel and body are all like twice as thick ATX was not comfortable to play chords on, my hand hurt like hell when I did.

Yes I've owned many 27" guitars over the years. If your Schecter is 26.5 then you probably wont notice a major difference. Compared to 25.5 or 24.75 its definitely a big difference. It still is easy to play, but the frets are noticibly further apart making stretches somewhat more difficult. It's also really noticeable high up on the neck, it takes some getting used to. For me, I enjoy the way standard scale 7s play better, but I have no problem with baritones.

I usually use FedEx, but it should only be around $20-30 depending where it's going. Thanks dude

I just used the JSX model in Revalver with the S-Highpres impulse I got over at the sneap forum. I think theres a chorus set to be used to wide the sound on there also. Nothing major just neck pickup and that stuff. Cheers!
