    Electric sitar guitar?

Im yet to hear a synthetic material tabla that sounds decent, but no harm in trying. Def finish this G-Sitar first.

Old pod beans and other old modeling units that can be had for cheap?

Vamp 2 is quiet dated now and the effects such, but you can get few really good tones from it.

    Electric sitar guitar?

Or buy one of those guitar making kits. Though that way, I like the idea of getting an old jackson or esp more. Its less hassle.

Help Me Pick a Bedroom Rig - HX Stomp + Headphones?

AKG 271 is a great headphone, 371 is strange. If you like the Harman curve, then it is literally the best headphone out there minus the build quality having some compromises. If you don't like the Harman curve, then other headphones will do better. Going with established classics like the 271...

Help Me Pick a Bedroom Rig - HX Stomp + Headphones?

Sonarworks reference has set eq's to make your headphones transparent. Works quiet well actually. Why not just order 560S from Thomann ?

    Electric sitar guitar?

Cannot help you with the electric sitar, the EHX pedal is not bad but cannot sound like the real thing. Honestly, any harp guitar will get you close enough to that sound. http://www.timdonahue.com/harpguitars.html About Indian music having too many rules, its because of this lot of Indians me...

Help Me Pick a Bedroom Rig - HX Stomp + Headphones?

You get awesome cabs for free in many packs. Try those before ordering anything. Senn HD280 is a studio classic for monitoring. So is the Beyer 700. As is AKG 371. My HD280 is going strong, 12 years now. That said, the 200€ will work for mixing as well. So upto you.

Help Me Pick a Bedroom Rig - HX Stomp + Headphones?

Beyer and Senn have both very different approaches to their headphones. Beyers are definately more comfortable, the pad life and compatibility and modability is better. Senns are usuually lighter, the peads have not as much of a shelf life, but the measurments are done with the pads and...

Help Me Pick a Bedroom Rig - HX Stomp + Headphones?

If Mixing is not your goal, all of the above are more than good enough for you. The HD 560S has solid reviews across the board and comfortable for long use. Only negative in my book is that its open back.

Help Me Pick a Bedroom Rig - HX Stomp + Headphones?

For this reason I recommended the Austrian audio, if you like a clear headphone for mixing, the X55 competes with the Audeze LCD. Far beyond the clarity of the Beyer.

Help Me Pick a Bedroom Rig - HX Stomp + Headphones?

Well the white limited edition on the HX Stomp is on Thomann for 450€ if you order it now. So you can save money there. Regarding headphones, avoid the 880. Both 770 and 990 are good, chose 770 for closed and 990 for open. 6XX is a pain to get in Europe, get the HD 560S instead. Similar but...
