No problem, mate! Personally, I love them to bits, but it all boils down to whether you need the neck pickup or not.

It depends on your concept of versatility, mate - you won't get a swiss army knife in terms of pickup switching like a strat, evidently, but it all boils down to what you do and how flexible your rig may be, ultimately. I play a ton of styles on them without any trouble, although certain traditional things aren't attainable in that format (imagine SRV's neck + mid combo, for instance).
