I just got back from Guitar Center where I spent 3 hours with a Gibson Les Paul Classic Goldtop administering kickass riffs through a Peavey JSX with this fucking glorious X2 Digital Wireless transmitter on my back. What a liberating and awesome feeling! Freeballin' if you will, as Murderface would say. This is the coolest piece of gear I've come across in a long time. At last, a digital wireless system that sounds perfectly transparent, and won't become obsolete after the Government seizes all the analog UHF signals in 2009. There was no tone or sustain loss even when I was 100+ feet away, rocking out in the Pro Audio section. Rolling the volume down and playing clean reacted the same as if you were wired. Again, total transparency. I can't wait to start playing shows with this thing, cables are false. Buy this. At $299, this is a no-brainer. It took 10 seconds to setup. Turn on receiver, set it to whichever channel you like plug into amp. Turn on transmitter, ditto. Plug included 3' cable from transmitter to guitar. Start administering Viking-approved riffs at will So much fun. BTW quality 9volts were included. If you get it online, it even comes with a free hat. 4 out of 4 Cousin Larrys (Or, for you conformists, see official ratings above).
