    So are these actives or passives? Do they fit standard active 8 string routes, like EMG 808s?

    Passives scatterwound, the dimensions of the pickups are on the first page as I've never owned EMG's 808's to compare size.

    FYI Those pickups will fit EMG routes, but the 45-series humbuckers - not the 40-series. 808 routes will be 1/2" too narrow. They're the size of EMG's 6-string bass humbuckers. Perfect for a fanned 8-string or a straight 9-string.
