Browsing sweetwater and found this label on the back of the headstock of a LTD SC-20, there are two on the site, another one don't have it. Checked other guitars, no one have this label neither.
    A little bit scary.

According to the state of California, nearly everything will give you cancer

I wouldn't worry about it, man. California requires that notice on many products.

The Aflac lady came to our office. She was pretty hot; that's why I assume the president agreed to give her individual meetings with all staff members.

Anyway, according to the Aflac agent, no one knows if WiFi will give you brain cancer. So, you know, maybe the whole entire world is fucked

California has a list of chemicals and compoinds known to two specific organizations to cause either cancer, birth defects, or developmental damage.

California voters decided they wanted to be notified if any products contain any of these materials. One of the most common is lead, for example. Many types of solder have lead in them, which is why you see this label on so many electronic items.

So...in order to sell items that have these materials in California, the world's 5th largest economy (and a disproportionally more active market in electronics and electric guitars than many other states), they have to make a decision: A) either make a separate SKU of an item specifically for California, where these versions of the identical product will have to be labelled that it contains any of these chemicals/materials. That separate SKU, then, is easy to track and re-supply to make sure that only California gets them, and also that California ONLY gets them. Option B) is to just slap the one sticker on every instrument off the assembly line, and then run the chance that everyone else in the other 49 states won't care about the sticker, short of making fun of it online, joking that "everything causes cancer in California, but just cross the border to Nevada/Oregon and you'll be fine".

So in short: it could. But just know that just about any similar products also could, but the manufacturer/vendor has just decided not to tell you about it by purposefully not including that sticker for wherever you live.

Pretty soon, the sticker itself will have a cancer warning sticker.

If you’re in California, you can sue SSO since they didn’t put a label on it

Not all titanium Dioxide is equal. More and more, nanotechnology has dramatically increase the amount of ultra-fine powders, etc. These nanoparticles have all sorts of different crystaline structures, ph levels, etc and react much different to cells than "normal" partical sizes...and some are shown to damage DNA. Also, because they are so small, studies have found absorbtion through skin in specific types of pores, and deposits of TiO in lesions of several organs in autopsied lab mice in experiments with exposure.
