Some local deals came up, there's an RG7421pb stock. It looks nice, in good shape. $250, or $300 for an RG7321 with Bare Knuckle Cold Sweat, and Painkiller... Both guitars are Indonesian made.

Which would be better? or save up for something else?

7321 without question. If the 7421 was an older JP made, I might have to think about it.

The 7321 were better than the indo 7421s, and it has 200 pickups in it for 50 dollars more.

The RG7321's are good guitars, and with expensive pickups, no brainer. I have one I have modified a ton, and it plays better than most guitars under $1200.

    5-piece Wizard II-7 in 7321's is better than Wizard III-7 :2c:

Nothing real special about newer 7421's. I just traded mine for an RGD 7421. I think I made out in the deal.

I would go with the RG7321. Great playing workhorse. Put better pups in it and its a awsome instrument. The newer RG7421 imo are of less quality than the older RG7321. I still have my 7321 from when I was a teenager and that was all I could afford.lol im refinishing it slowly and getting new pups then gonna rack it with my UV, RG1527M, RG7421XL, K7, and RG7620.
