    He's an AMAZING player, but I think it'd be LOADS better without the beatboxing :squint:

    Seen his stuff before, great cello playing. But yeah, I think the beatboxing is extraneous.

    I've seen this sort of thing before. Playing preexisting styles of music and beatboxing over it is apparently the thing to do now. Ignoring the fact that I don't actually like the music, it is technically very good and I wholly approve of the idea. Wish there was more compositional merit to the beatboxing, though.

    Although I totally understand why one could find it offputting, as a fan of beatboxing in general, the added percusiveness was really what made the piece or me. To each his own, I guess.
