Just checking out Nolly's bass patch and how it works with my rhythm tone. Seems like they worked well together, although I was surprised at how much distortion he puts on the bass.

I'm using the riffs that Nolly used a while back to test his 5153 rhythm patch through his Vik.

Hope you guys like the mix.

    it sounds awesome!

what kind of bass are you using? also, what guitar/pick-ups are you using?
    it sounds great!

you should make a clip with nollys rhythm patch AND his bass patch!

    Very nice!

AxeFX for the guitar tone? Also the mix sounds great to me.

    Thanks, guys.
P88, I actually tried using his rhythm patch, but I couldn't eq it correctly without killing the tone. It's just a lot richer than what I'm used to working with, so it'll take some tinkering with to get it sounding as good as it sounds raw. I'm using a Dingwall Combustion bass and a Carvin Dc 727 with Aftermaths in it.

Jmeezle, the guitars are also AxeFx. I'm using the PVH 6160 amp through the German and Recto V30 (rw) cabs with the RE16 dyn and E609 dyn mics.
