...no I don't ...
You have a pic of your 1527l? I'd love to see it.
So would I. I hate to call you out but as Scott mentioned in a previous thread they don't exist for the rest of us lefties. It seems more likely that it is a RG7420L (still much sought after but not as good a trem in my opinion).
However if like Andre on Jemsite (he has the only RG1077XL lefty - it's just not fair) you have picked up something very rare I definitely want to have a look!
Yeah, apperanty the 1527 was available in japan for a year in '04. It isn't available anymore I dont think and they are rarer than the 7420L's
That's funny because I emailed someone at Ikebe Gakki about that (after seeing the reference on jemsite to a 1527L in Galaxy Black being made) and he said that it must be a typo and was a reference to the 1570. I got the impression that the Japanese think left handed people are more 'wrong' than the rest of the world as he indicated that people tend to be forced to play right handed. If he was in fact lying to me I REALLY want to see some pictures!!!!!
Indeed. If it is a 1527L, then it's rarer to see than Drew's alcohol blood count level being at 0%
You're right, you don't. I've found that after weighing my options It's going to have to be a custom build
Not Ebay, but still something VERY rare and hard to find
The one and only lefty JEM
Hmmmm .... Personally I say yuck. The 555 is the cheapo version - why didn't they make us a real Jem!!! (Inlay only up to the 12th fret??!? - Why??!!)
Also you didn't happen to notice the date that advert was posted did you! -"Monday March 8, 2004. 06:40 AM"
When it comes to a good axe choice for lefties, Ibanez SUCKS!!!!, especially in the 7 string department.
On the Q of a lefty 7 floating trem, Guitar Parts Depot have a lefty 7 Liscenced Floyd Rose available for $119.00?USD (Chrome) and $125.52 USD (Black)
I have spent the past 2 months constantly searching for a lefty 7 w/ a trem and it's been a complete joke and of course, I refuse to buy a left 7 without a remt because fixed bridges and string through bodies are crap, they don't allow for as much creative freedom and I hate feeling cramped.
If I can get a parts supplier in the UK that has the balls and brains to order a lefty 7 floating trem for me, then I'll just buy the rest of the parts and build a guitar myself, with the help of my loal guitar tech , but if any of you guys know of anyone that is selling a lefty 7 w/ a floating trem, then I'll most certainly be interested
Take care everyone and peace always
Guitarpartsdepot ships internationally. I just ordered one from them myself.
Yeah , I gave them a call, but the lady that answered the phone, didn't have a clue as to whether or not they had a left6y 7 tremolo bridge or not, she was supposed to e-mail me or call me back to let me know if they had 'em in stock and I got no reply what so ever, but that will not put me off , I'm more determined to get a lefty 7 w/ a trem
I'll e-mail them and see what their reply is
Take care everyone and peace always
A bump for that nice little link.
meh...Nothnig there im too interested in. Hellraiser and the Jackson Randy rhoads model. But that's probably like 2500
Jackson are rip off merchants, esp when it comes to a lefty wanting a 7 string, I went to their website and I had to go to the 'Custom Shop' page to find out about a lefty 7 string, and before I even started with designing it how I want it, I was being asked to cough up $3 G's and I exact thoughts were "Go F youselves!!!", why pay more than you should have to?... that's how I see it
Take care and peace always
A Bass That I would KILL for!!!
And yet another bass I would KILL for!!!
This thread needs a bump, lefty vigilance ftw!
What the hell happened to ninja-boy?
Ibanez SZ (dropped! ouch!):
and another, not dropped:
There are far too many lefty Les Paul copies, Strat copies and the like dammit, I want pointy guitars with trems and extra strings!
