Nick, if there's anything you need help with, let me know. Take shots in the dark, I know people who know people. Shit, my girlfriend is a licensed cosmetologist, i could hook you up with a really spiky hairdo.

I'm more of a businessman/PR person, though, so if you need someone to do additional talking, I've been refining my negotiating skillz for years :D: I also dabble in graphic design and computer networking, but it looks like you've already got someone to fill that slot. sometimes, I've also been known to pluck some notes on one of those electric guitar contraptions, though I'm not really sold on the idea of them .

I don't even want to get paid  Long shot, but I know firsthand how hard it is to set up a business by yourself, and I'd imagine, when dealing with gear as expensive as your stock is shaping up to be, it's far harder. So, I figured I'd offer what skills I think I have. Best of luck to ya. I'll have to drop by when I visit my college buddies at BU and MIT early next year :metal:

Awesome man, thanks a lot I appreciate it. And yeah, you're pretty much spot on. It's REALLY difficult in this economy to start a business like this all by myself with no no money, but so far so good at least. Much better things on the horizon for sure.

    We'll be in touch :metal:

Well it looks like ANOTHER forumite who agreed to help me finish my website has disappeared for no apparent reason. Anyone else out there who can help? I really need something half-decent up by NAMM :(

I can try and make something basic with Dreamweaver, I took a course during school for it. Not quite sure how much I'll remember but it could be kind of a "Here's our current site, but we're in the process of doing a new one" so you'd have something for NAMM

Hey Ben. Thanks but yeah I kind of need something more advanced than that. It's cool though I have someone who volunteered already. *crosses fingers*

    I appreciate that though :metal:

No problem man, like I said, it would've been more like a teaser "Here's a basic for you, just wait till the whole thing is done!"

I'm hoping the website gets finished soon. Perhaps it will help bring in the money necessary to get the physicial location and stock going.

    Anyways Best of Luck man.

Yeah everything is going well. I had some major setbacks due to my original partner screwing me over and people disappearing on me, but everything will start to come together after NAMM. It's not exactly a great time to be starting a business with this economy, but fuck if I care. So far so good really!

I have to say I want to thank all of you guys here on Sevenstring for being so supportive. I did about $2500 worth of BKPs in December. I can't imagine any other dealer sold that many in that time period (who knows though?), and that's pretty cool considering I'm just some new guy on a 7-string forum. I feel weird posting numbers like that on here, but I just really appreciate it and couldn't have done it without all of you guys supporting me and making referrals :metal:

Thanks Nick. NAMM should be fun, I'll definitely have some news to report when I'm out there and after I get back.

Yeah it was unfortunate regarding my partner. He was a fraud and wasted the entire first half of '08 with lies and false promises. It was at that point I decided to just do everything myself and that's when shit started to actually happen. Learned a valuable lesson there I guess, and I'm glad I found out he couldn't be trusted in the early stages rather than later. It's all good now, just a temporary setback :)

    Cheers dude :yesway:
