I dig it, Just wish the guitars had jumbo frets. Picked up an affinity jazzmaster last year and while the specs were more rock oriented, the medium frets didn't do it for me.

It is great to see that they are having products that cater to the metal crowd. Now if only they were to do the same in the standard and usa range without only being limited to artist signatures.

I agree. Since they were aiming these at metal dudes, they should have at least put medium-jumbo or jumbo frets. Or go all-out and put extra-jumbo.

the jim root jazzmaster is aesthetic af, these are just meh. you can put together a pretty sick metal centric jazzmaster for 500$ or less (depending on what parts you're willing to cheap out on).

If I had my way, the Jazzmaster would have the output jack on the side of the guitar, and it would have a Strat-style hardtail bridge, but that's just a matter of personal taste, otherwise I think these are pretty sweet!

They look cool. 21 frets is a weird choice for a contemporary model though, the strats and teles have 22.

Ye that is a bit weird when I saw the specs too. They should have at least 22 frets on the damn thing!

Shit with that pickup spacing you probably could have put 24.

I hear they have friends at Jackson and Charvel. They should send an email.

They've *occasionally* done them. Showmaster series, Jazz Bass 24, Squier Showmaster, Squier Stagemaster.

I am very well aware of that. Jackson is my most favored brand of all time. Number 1 for me

Ye it would be cool to have a fender that had something like that. I get that they have J/C and all but I dunno I think it would be kinda cool, but from the business perspective, there is a reason why they don't
