SONGWRITING THREAD?

    I tried this yesterday, for some reason it got closed...:scratch:
    I think it would be really helpful and interesting for everyone to chip in with details, stories and tips about the songwriting process, for whatever genre or instrument, although guitarists would be more useful, given that this is a guitar forum.

    Just as a hint, thread don't get closed without a reason. There was such a thread some time ago and it got closed because of the lack of activity.

    Edit: and writting title in ALLCAPSRAGE!!!!! ain't accepted here either lol.

    It may also have been closed since a thread of the exact same idea was made a few days back...

    That being said, my writing process isn't very interesting. I come up with an intro and the song flows in my head from there and I was transcribe it into Guitar Pro. I rarely even write with a guitar in my lap. :x

    The recording studio section pretty much exists to talk about writing / recording music guys.
