Omg, the guy they have playing as Bernie reminds me so much of Mel Brooks that it makes this :lol:fest that much funnier. Alec Baldwin did a fantastic portrayal of Jim Webb too.

"The guy" playing Bernie Sanders? Lol, you millennials kill me. ;) That's Larry David, the creator/brains behind Seinfeld.

He did do an awesome job. Matter of fact when watching the original debate I was thinking how much Bernie reminds me of Larry David in the sound of his voice and motioning.

Idk about that millennials comment as I and all my friends definitely know Larry David is, and aside from that Curb Your Enthusiasm began airing in 2000. His show is extra-millennial.

    rofllll

Also I'm shocked they got Larry David on for that. So perfect. I hope they keep him casted as Bernie for the season (most likely wont happen since LD is known to be pretty fickle).

Loved the sketch, especially Larry David.

I just feel the latest casts have the inability to quit while they're ahead when it comes to their sketches. Case in point, this is a 10 minute video, that's a long time to have a gag run. it makes for several misses in a sketch that should only be hits.

    anyhow, quality performances

I miss the cast being able to do their skits without staring the entire time off to the side to read the teleprompter. Anyone else notice this? I find that it takes away from the funniness a lot because rather than being acted some skits come across as just being read from the screen.

Millennial? I was born in 1985 good sir. I'm at the ass end of Gen X. :p
Also, I didn't watch much Seinfeld and wasn't a fan of Curb Your Enthusiasm, so of course I don't really know who Larry David is. But I do know my Mel Brooks and this was quality entertainment on par with Mel Brooks. :yesway:

"There are no precise dates when the generation starts and ends; most researchers and commentators use birth years ranging from the early 1980s to the early 2000s."

;) Of course, it was still just a joke

And yes, Mel Brooks is a comedic god! :metal:

Its hard to watch Sanders in the debates since seeing LD do Sanders. I just think of LD up there on the stage. Too good.
