This bugs me to no end.
I don't see an issue. Am I missing something?
On Topic: The Jubilee is something you don't usually see modeled, and is an awesome amp. I might need to get it via the ACS.
yea, i'm not seeing the problem here.
I'm with Max on this one. I had a "Slash is overrated" phase, but he was a big influence in making me play guitar.
I'm probably gonna try this.
I dunno, it just bugs me. Especially the cabinets.
Anyways, cheers to those who like it!
It doesn't seem to come with it's own cab models, probably just uses the stock Amplitube Marshall models.
Then I'm really confused (not surprising)
Oh, I thought you meant the actual models, the things that determine the sound. Not the graphic.
haha, well I don't know what to say. Just bugs me.
Yeah, he's known for tone.
I'm with you on this. Slash was a big influence in the choices of music that I have made. I've always liked his playing style and abilities.
Don't know if I'll try the software out or not though... pretty happy with my axe ultra for my amp modeling/effects. I still have many, many nights of learning that thing!
I have Amplitube 3/metal/hendrix. What else unique does this really add that I cant get with the models that I already have?
Not sure why this is necessary, I always thought his lead tone quite easy to dial in... All you need is a nice PAF type of neck humbucker in a mahogany guitar, classic sounding amp (Marshall preferable) and problem solved.
It actually adds a lot. Marshall AND Slash both had to approve of the tone these gear models can reproduce. They both agreed the tone here in the AmpliTube Custom Shop is SPOT ON. Plus Slash took this very seriously and has helped create these every step of the way.
He was using AmpliTube iRig before to write his new album too! You can watch Slash explain and introduce AmpliTube Slash on YouTube. He pulls of some cool solos too, but that's the norm for Slash
Slash "is" real??
One of my favorite quotes of all time, I use it on my wife all the time (Not in the same context however)
i posted ITT the other day, but didn't think about it until i saw the thread again a little bit ago. when i did it was like "that's fucking brilliant, i must do it!"
Actually Slash used AmpliTube iRig on his iPad to help WRITE his new album. He wanted HIS tone and HIS Marshall and HIS stomp boxes on it. We gladly obliged!
He explains it a bit here:
God dammit Obik, quit following me everywhere
Here's hoping that my last remaining sanctuary from the obikwank"i"nobi isn't invaded!!!!!! (hint, go to the gibson forum! )
