    Hello everyone!

Put my deposit in for a Skervesen Swan 7 multiscale. I would like to share the build process.
I was planning for a build from scratch with Black Limba, Buckeye burl top, Pale moon ebony fretboard but turned out too expensive, so Bogumil at Skervesen redirected me on several pre-builds, more affordable (relatively speaking).
So I chosen one of them with the following specs:

    Body: Limba
    Headstock: Swan
    Top: Quilted maple
    Neck: 5 pieces maple/wenge 25,4"-27"
    Fretboard: Ziricote
    Bridge: ABM single saddles (Black)
Tuners: Hipshot open gear locking (black)
    Frets: Stainless Jescar 57110
    Pickups: Bareknuckle uncovered Juggernaut set

Note that only the body and neck were premade, so I got to choose the fretboard.

So far Bogumil has been great to deal with, and he has gotten back to me every time I wrote him within 24 hours.

I'll post picture when I get some :)

(BTW I'm french, so please correct my English if needed :wavey:)

    Thanks!

The estimated build time is approximately 5-6 month.

Yeah this became a dream guitar ever since I layed my eyes on it. I love how the quilted Maple is kinda "imperfect" with some darker lines on it, I hope it will still pop out with the staining.

any clue what kind of finish you're going to get? that top could really pop with some blue and black.

Nice - I like the three layer body. And that shape always reminds me somewhat of the Ibanez Afirma basses...

    I went for a Black/red burst, we'll so how it turns :)

I just checked, and it does look like it! Yes the bubinga middle layer is killer I think.

Quick update today, the build looks faster than I though it would be. Primary neck carving is done, now they let the neck rest to check stability of it.

I've finally decided on the finish. I went back and forth with my initial choice (Red and black burst) and trans white/grey. But I came accross a picture of a blueish quartz and ask Bogumil if something inspired could be feasable. So he sent me this:

I somehow missed it on Musza Facebook page, but as soon as I looked at it, I though "Yep, totally going to do that".
I don't know how they're doing it, but they're doing it awesomely.

So, long time not updating this!
I get a picture update a couple weeks ago, body and neck are ready for staining.
It seems we're a bit late regarding completion (initialy quoted 5-6 month in May), but it is only a month off so far and it's more toward the end than in the begining. But yeah, I'm getting nervous now, sending them emails every two weeks :D
    Anyway, pictures:

And the finish I'm gonna go with:

I hope it doesn't take too long now :(
