new, but i have read quite a few forums here.

i like how you guys and girls seem a bit more grown up than many other forums i've seen (which is why i do not go to them).

with that said.........uh,......any new bands you guys are listening to?

I recommend Scar Symmetry if you like a weird mix of melodic death metal, brutal death metal, black metal, and clean melodic metally stuff. Not sure what exactly you listen to, but I think they're pretty awesome.

If you want some awesome solo guitar stuff, I'd recommend Vince Lupone from his forum and his solo album (which has a review on the main page and several downloadable MP3s on his site). Right now he has a band called "The Asylum" that is just about to release their debut album. Pretty cool stuff. :yesway:

Welcome, and its not a new band but the new Machine Head record is amazing. The guitar work on the disc is enthralling.
