Im about to purchase Schecter Demon 7 Cherry Red Burst in a week , can anyone tell me difference between pickups. Some of these come with Duncan Designed where newer ones come with Schecter Diamond Active HB-105S ? Are they the same? Worse, Better ? Any idea?

Either set I would replace. I've always hated stock actives though for sure. Usually muddy and fizzy.
My recommendation would be to get the one with passives.

try them, see if they suck, then decide if you need to replace them. sometimes stock pickups are pretty decent to good (the oem pickups that were stock my agile/prs mushok/gus g star and kiesel lithiums), some (like the ibanez v7/v8) are absolute trash. Doesn't hurt to at least see if they're decent.
duncan designed are usually meh ime.

In my experience Duncan Designed pups are pretty good. Do you know which model the DD are?
