I've said it before, I removed my 2101's tubes and replaced them with King Diamond bobble-heads. I'm that metal.

Is that an SS.org-endorsed modification, to bring on the BRUTAL?

:agreed: You can't dime it though, if you do, it makes the next door neighbor's puppy die.

Maybe award it to most creative rigs? Or just for using odd peices of gear?

I'm liking this more and more
[action=Regor]'s Japanez or "Rhino" 7-strings never get mentioned in the GOTM, so maybe he has a better chance with this one [/action]

If its gonna be for the oddest pieces of gear, I'm gonna hook a gramophone to the FX loop of my Invader

Like, I'd nominate Vinces rig for use of the mic preamp, for example.

I don't really see the fun of it either. Of course, GOTM isn't fun either. After choking down the fact that my guitars weren't good enough, I then got shot down for trying to nominate one of Chris Broderick's guitars when there was nothing about that in the initial rules.

If you do it, then clips should be mandatory. Hell, the two should really be consolidated.

Yes, I'd say so, definately, odd rigs rule!

And I'll never get in guitar of the month, as mine are all virtually stock

Allowing totally stock gear to win would be lame...unless there was something rediculously awesome about the rig.
