Hello all so im in a tough decision between these 2 amps.the lil fokker my concern is does it handle drop tuned 7 string guitar work i know quality is definitely there being a deizel.im coming from a Mesa rev g dual recto and use to that.and next the Randall 667 seems to handle a ton of styles but is the quality there? will it stand up against gigging.
Any info or insight would be much appreciated

Yes. It's a killer amp and as well designed as any.

Depends on the amp the other guitarist is using.. if there is another guitarist.

If you are a 1 guitarist band, you can use almost anything...

Hello no other guitarist just me was using a Mesa Boogie dual rectifier 2 Channel wanting to try something new so I thought try a diezel but then the 667 really appeals to me having a ton of options

In that case, get whatever you want. If you want all the options and the tone of the 667 get it. At the end of the day, only you can decide what you want/need.

I agree with the 667, sounds decent but from what I hear there is a whole lot of overlap between all those 6 channels. Also would be worried about it breaking down after heavy gigging- how could someone here not get that? A Diezel is on the other end of that spectrum- those things are some of the best made amps out there- like a tank.

There's a DMoll FS at RigTalk you may want to look at. I love my Moll- it gets Recto evil and can also get friendly Marshally mids and has a great clean. Can easily get in the ballpark of Fokker tones but with so much more

I owned a 50 watt combo, only sold it because i wasn't using it as much as my Fryette.

I would buy another one immediately if i only needed 2 channels
