So much better than his signature
Wow! That thing is insane.
Reminds me of a cross between a Stef-8 and a Takayoshi Ohmura sig.
just trying to reach around for that high e tuning peg seems like a nightmare haha but badass guitar none the less
do you guys think he will use it for any new AAL stuff?
I hope he does; this thing oozes charm.
Still boggles my mind why nobody has made a legit production 7 or 8 string strat.
One of, if not the most popular guitar around. No 7, no 8.
This is aweome and I hope ESP make more of them.
I can dig it, still don't like those inlays though.
Well Schecter is supposed ti make em in a not far future
Same here, the inlays ruin the the magic somehow
I guess strats just need dots, its a fact of life.
Ooh, that's good news. I hope they release them in the UK.
Finally, a new guitar for the micropenis demographic. I'll take a belt holder for mine.
I love this thing!
Though it gave me a chuckle that it's probably loaded with Tosin's sig Dimarzios which he no longer even uses.
Could it be because of the Maestro...?
He must have invented some new revolutionary innovation!
Was just going to say this looks like the sort of thing that DMAG will be claiming to have invented any minute now.
it's cool. I'd never get one if they ever become production models because I hate trems but it's cool nonetheless
Considering how much of AAL's stuff is played on singlecoils this makes a lot of sense.
Probably because most solidbody 7 string users play metal, and having a single coil strat for metal wasn't really in fashion. When you think about it, you can play metal nowadays with a single coil because there is a wazoo of high gain amps and the single coils aren't as noisy as they were before. At some point even Gilmour went to actives because of the noise, and he came back passives because technology enhancements made it possible. Most famous metal strat users modded them for humbuckers, too, from EVH to Dave Murray
You can do styff nowadays you couldn't 20 years ago, basically, because tech has evolved. I'm pretty sure you could play metal with a banjo on the axefx.
Yeah I recently got an American Elite strat and the single coils in that are *actually silent*, I couldn't believe it.
are they lace? because those are the only actually silent single coils I've ever played with.
My old American deluxe SSS strat with the SCN noiseless pickups is quieter than my humbucker guitars haha
